According to a tweet posted on CBS This Morning‘s Twitter account on Monday night, Johnson told the news outlet that he’s no longer employed by R. Kelly. “I [stepped] down as crisis manager for personal reasons. Mr. Kelly is in good hands with Mr. Greenberg!” he reportedly said.
During his interview with CBS Morning, Johnson told Gayle King that he wouldn’t leave his 20-year-old daughter with anyone who is accused of being a pedophile. King asked, “You have a 20-something-year-old daughter. Would you allow her to be alone with–?”
“Absolutely not,” Johnson answered before King could complete her sentence. “R. Kelly?” she finished.
Johnson then added, “I would not leave my daughter with anyone who’s accused of pedophilia.”
